Playlist: Hotter than fire…

Zainab jamming

Zainab jamming

It’s Monday. It’s random playlist time. You already know the deal. Let’s jump right in!

We start with Nigerian Zainab Sule with her track ‘I’ll Make You Dance.’ I heard on the grapevine that she’s been working on new stuff for her upcoming “MIDNIGHT” concert being held here in Abuja, Nigeria. Looking forward to that!

South African rockers, Raptorbaby only just released this song and it’s awesome. I love the guitar work especially. Nice.

It’s Tinariwen from Mali. This is a more unusual song from the group because it features rapping and feels very Nu Metal/Rap rock although still with the unique sound that marks Tinariwen.

We quickly jump to Egyptian rocker Ahmed Hawary Keko with this track whose name is in Arabic and therefore, I can’t tell you what it’s called 🙁 Hoping someone out there can tell me! Stumbled across this and it’s great!

We end with Kenya’s Last Year’s Tragedy and their song Challenge Accepted. If you even slightly follow us here on AudioInferno, then you know that we absolutely love these guys.

Hope you enjoyed today’s playlist. Be sure to check out earlier playlists as we try to highlight as much African Rock & Metal as we possibly can.

Remain locked to AudioInferno this week as we have a lot planned for y’all. Rock on \m/
