Playlist: The Very 0h-So-Random

Well, you all know me, yes, Austin, that’s me. Huge fan of Melodic Death Metal so I’m going to be gracing you guys with this Monday’s random playlist (funnily enough, there isn’t a single Melodic Death Metal song in this playlist).

You get that feeling when you wake up and it’s a Monday, you’ll be like there are classes today, lectures, you going to have to be present at work this morning in your office or shop. You feel like the day should be forwarded by 3 days. Well tough luck (and cookie) that ain’t happening because it’s Monday.

Okay, let’s do this.

Ufuoma Douglas from Nigeria

Lovers of Black Sabbath should appreciate the effort of Douglas, miming to a song used to be the sort of thing you always looked forward to during your social nights back in secondary school, fun stuff back then. The video seems to be a tribute to the band, either way it’s pretty cool.

Thread of Omen from  South Africa

Thread of Omen!!! I love these guys a lot, they give me that Melodeath vibe, Their palace of the Fathers album, one of the best albums I have listened to this year, if you listen to this, you will listen to all. (Or at least, you should).

The haunted forest! That’s the track right there.

Wesh N’dir from Algeria

Awesome song from Wesh N’dir from Algeria. This song reminds me of Nirvana but is very local. I love how they integrate local sounds into their play style. Nice video to boot.

Al Bairre from South Africa

Al Bairre are an Indie band from South Africa, we at AudioInferno Towers deal with all genres of rock. We admit we don’t get a lot ofIndie bands coming our way but we aren’t waiting around for them to come now are we… wait, dammit… gosh darn, we actually are. Ugh!!!!

Skinflint from Botswana

Skinflint is a very cool band. I’ve watched this video lets say over a 100 times in just the last week. I knew the song but had never actually watched the video. Seyi, our AudioInferno reviewer-in-chief pointed me towards the video (don’t ask why I never checked for it myself). Been stuck on it, you might be stuck too, who knows? They remind me of Iron Maiden and considering Iron Maiden is coming to South Africa next year. This is Amazeballs.

DONE AND DONE… that outta shake your Monday morning good, as for us here at AudioInferno, we say SUCK IT UP. Monday isn’t all that bad. Well we’d say that if we didn’t have work and stuff to do, ass well. So, yeah, we’re all on the same ship here. As long as we have cat videos on the internet, we’ll be fine. Praise the data!

Hope you enjoyed today’s playlist. Be sure to check out earlier playlists as we try to highlight as much African Rock & Metal as we possibly can.

Remain locked to AudioInferno this week as we have a lot planned for y’all. Rock on \m/

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. You DO NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained here \m/{*¿*}\m/ …THERE…OK. I’m a huge Melodeath metal fan. I’m proud to be a METALHEAD. Metal isn’t for everybody, it’s for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don’t understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don’t have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn’t. Metal is my morning coffee and it’s my night sleeping pills…
