Playlist: Thursday Thoughts with Rasha of Enraged

Hello world, how’s the week going, getting ready for Rocktoberfest, huh? Well, we here at AudioInferno are getting pumped for it.

Rasha of Enraged

So we bringing you another session of Thursday Thoughts, this time we have Rasha of Egyptian Metal band Enraged with us. She selects her favourite and most inspiring music videos. Here are her thoughts…

Until It Sleeps By Metallica

Until it sleeps is probably one of the early videos of metal to be very dark and creepy, the use of biblical references was smart, too.

Unforgiven by Metallica

It is a great story being told with the boy who shuts himself to the world because it is too cruel to forgive.

Somewhere I Belong by Linkin Park
I like that it is a traditional simple rock video with the members performing the song, very raw and real.
Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana

The setting with the school gym at night and the young people lost and confused, just epitomizes the symbolism behind the song.

Everybody’s Fool by Evanescence

It is a great interpretation of the pressure the media puts on artists to be perfect instead of real humans. It also mocks consumerism.

Hope you enjoyed her list of songs. Pretty varied choice of songs. It’s interesting seeing the videos that inspired her.

Next week we will find out which videos Jason Modyrc from Imperial Destruction is inspired by.

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. You DO NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained here \m/{*¿*}\m/ ...THERE...OK. I'm a huge Melodeath metal fan. I'm proud to be a METALHEAD. Metal isn't for everybody, it's for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don't understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don't have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn't. Metal is my morning coffee and it's my night sleeping pills...
