Playlist: Thursday Thoughts with Shannon Links Of Desolation Of Silence

Desolation Of Silence

Remember, remember, the fifth of November… Yeah. Moving on swiftly, your Thursday Thoughts with your favourite band is here again. So this week, we gonna be hearing from Shannon Links of South African band, Desolation of Silence.

While Desolation of Silence members are camping or not in the studio doing stuff, Shannon runs sessions for various bands, until his band returns to the stage in December. He played Bass for Voidgrip and finished off with Echoes Through Eternity a couple of weeks back. Here are his favourite videos and his thoughts on them. Enjoy!

Trivium – Rain

It was one of my bands covers that we would play live, I love it because of the awesome lyrics and damn that track is well written, as well as the video is well composed.

Cradle Of Filth – From Cradle To Enslave

That track is one of my all time favourite Cradle of Filth video, I love it for its darkness and it is just rad!

Amon Amarth – Twilight of the Thundergod

Now Amon Amarth is my all time favourite, my opinion, they are by far the most amazing musicians around, that video shows true vikings and that stood out in the video.

Dimmu Borgir – Progenies of the Great Apocalypse

Best parts are the symphonic parts. The video and song are good. I love it.

Amon Amarth – Pursuit Of The Vikings

Damn, it is just Amon Amon. Why do I love the video? Because Amon Amarth.

Hope you enjoyed his list. Till next week and our next session.

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. You DO NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained here \m/{*¿*}\m/ …THERE…OK. I’m a huge Melodeath metal fan. I’m proud to be a METALHEAD. Metal isn’t for everybody, it’s for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don’t understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don’t have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn’t. Metal is my morning coffee and it’s my night sleeping pills…
