Playlist: Thursday Thoughts with Francois Meyer of DevilSpeak

There’s just something about Thursdays. I can’t quite put my finger on it. Hmmm. Anyway, enough preamble. It’s another session of Thursday Thoughts with some of your favourite rockers from across the continent. We get to hear their favourite videos and watch and be inspired by them.

This week we are catching up with the awesome drummer from DevilSpeak, Francois Meyer as he tells us his favourite videos and why he loves them. Enjoy.

Francois Meyer

Black Dahlia Murder – A Vulgar Picture

I love this song for its brutality, the drums is well written and the production of the video is well done

Son Of Aurelius – Myocardial Infarction

I love this band for their technicality, and well-rounded sound of brutality! Myocardial Infarction is probably my favourite…

Revocation – Invidious

What a great song! The drums on this song is what gripped me from the beginning. Can’t wait for Revocation to release another music video!

Conquering Dystopia- “Autarch” (Guitar Play-Through)

I am not a guitarist, but I’m completely blown away by this video! Been listening to their album on repeat for the past few days

AT THE GATES – The Book Of Sand (The Abomination)

They are still at it! Can’t wait to see them live at Witchfest 2016. Loving the intro, and how it shapes the rest of the song. As I drummer I am mostly influenced by Adrian Erlandsson, his style is simple, yet powerful!

OK. That’s it. Hope you enjoyed the videos.

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. You DO NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained here \m/{*¿*}\m/ ...THERE...OK. I'm a huge Melodeath metal fan. I'm proud to be a METALHEAD. Metal isn't for everybody, it's for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don't understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don't have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn't. Metal is my morning coffee and it's my night sleeping pills...
