The award show also features performances by prominent artists (TBA) and is televised online and on various media outlets. Awards are handed out in multiple categories and the two New Talent finalists perform live. There are twelve different categories of nominees with Portuguese ancestry that cut across different parts of the world. In all of the categories, our very own Angolan Heavy Rap Metal Band “M’Vula” has been nominated for the Best Rock Performance category alongside Mourah from Switzerland, Cesar Rego from USA, and Mike Kerr also from USA. All of these rock bands/acts have somethings in common, they all have a Portuguese ancestry and they all play rock music.
