Hey guys, welcome back to our Thursday playlist with your favorite rock artistes from around Africa. So this week we are going to be looking at Nourhanne Al-Gawad, she hails from Egypt and she is a solo singer, she could blend into any rock genre with her amazing voice so press play and enjoy her videos.

The Ship by Swallow the Sun

I’ve been listening to STS for years and their music expresses what is in my mind in music form. This song especially really touches my heart every single time.

Deep by Anathema

Great band and great album. This song is just beautiful. The atmosphere, the lyrics and Vincent’s voice and listening to this album especially is so nostalgic.

She Dies by Draconian

This song is one of my all time favorites, I can listen to it for hours and never get bored. This band has a special place in my heart.

Beyond The Stars by Myrath

I still remember when this album came out and I was just shocked of how amazing it is. My favorite part of this track is the chorus, sometimes I just can’t get it out of my head.

Forsaker by Katatonia

Katatonia is one of my favorite bands. I love this album and this song especially. It’s dark, emotional, and beautiful.

So hope you enjoyed the dark doom videos, the fact that Swallow the sun would be playing live in the Metal Blast Festival in Egypt on Saturday the 23rd is just totally awesome and Nourhanne Al-Gawad would be there live to see them.

Name is Austin, peeps call me Austinrock. I like to interact with bands. You DO NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained here \m/{*¿*}\m/ ...THERE...OK. I'm a huge Melodeath metal fan. I'm proud to be a METALHEAD. Metal isn't for everybody, it's for the chosen few. Most friends I have tell me they don't understand why I like metal, that it is too much noise. They just going to have to listen beyond the noise and the truth is they don't have to figure it out, it is either in you or it isn't. Metal is my morning coffee and it's my night sleeping pills...
