Metal Orizon is one of the oldest bands in Botswana and they went miles away to record their 7th album. They were in Boskurg, a small town near Johannesburg in South Africa, they recorded in Be Sharp Studios.
They went to South Africa on the 27th so they could watch Iron maiden, then they started studio work on May 30th 2016. They had already done half of the recording last year so they went to S.A to record vocals and solos. Their bassist (Santos thabakgolo) had to retake all songs since he wasn’t satisfied with the initial recording.
Metal Orizon has had three albums all full length all recorded when Spencer was still alive. This new album which they haven’t decided on the name yet will be the first of its kind without Spencer. Two members were introduced into the band (Dumisani Matiha on lead vocals and guitars and Gabriel Rampefe on guitars)
They took the pictures themselves, good shots they got. Stay tuned to Audioinferno for more on Metal Orizon.
