South African band Tracers have released their new single titled Sweaty Palms. We did an introduction post on them back in 2015 and it’s great to see new material from them finally. The band, who are based in Cape Town, will be embarking on their 2017 gig cycle as well.
Here is their press release below:
One of the Western Cape’s most vital up and coming artists, TRACERS, have recently released their brand new single, Sweaty Palms.
Sweaty Palms ushers in a new era for the band with aggressive synth, drum and vocal performances while still retaining the infectiously catchy hooks that the band is known for. The lyrical themes of their new material are a continuation of topics covered in previous releases (loss, ambition, over indulgence and uncertainty) but are executed this time around with razor-sharp precision and artistic maturity.
Tracers are starting off their 2017 gig cycle with an intimate performance at Gandalf’s, Cape Town, on the 6th of January with ROM-COM and URSUS & WOLF. Tracers will be joined on stage by their new live drummer, Rahul Ramasami. Future studio releases will feature Rahul on drums.
